Faculty of Economics - Business Administration of Hong Duc Universityis one of the prestigious Economics training departments. After 25 years of establishmentand development, the Faculty is constantly upgrading, making scientific contributions to the increasing prestige of the Faculty and the university. The operation of the Faculty has developed both in breadth and depth, becoming one of the leading units in scientific research activities of Hong Duc University, contributing to increasing the position of the Faculty and the University with Socio-economic status of Thanh Hoa province in particular and the country in general, has gradually become a center of high-quality training, research and consulting in the country.

Scientific research activities at the Faculty of Economics - Business Administration are carried out with a variety of tasks as well as research subjects, including:

+ Organizing scientific conferences at all levels. Seminars are organized by the faculty in collaboration with the University, other EconomicUniversities across the country as well as businesses, professional associations in order to organize on a large scale, increasingly deepening in quality.

+ Scientific research activities of students are increasingly interested, focusing on developing widely and deeply. Students can participate in a variety of scientific research activities such as: Writing essays, conducting research project start-up projects, creating creative ideas, participating in researching and fostering courses held by the Faculty in collaboration with the Young Business Association, Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union... Students in the Faculty have participated in national-scale scientific research competitions for many years and won many high prizes.

+ Scientific research activities of lecturers are considered as one of the top goals. The position of the Faculty is increasingly confirmed through the fact that faculty members has been assigned to lead and participate in scientific research tasks at the State, Ministry, Provincial levels. The assigned scientific research tasks are completed on schedule and are highly appreciated. In addition, the lecturers have made many international publications in prestigious economic journals on the list of journals with ISI and Scopus indice as well as good rankingdomestic specialized scientific journals.

The development goal of the Faculty of Economics - Business Administration in the future is to expand, develop and affirm its position as a large and reputable scientific research and economic and business consulting unit in the country. Developing close cooperation, linkage and enhance the role of training, research and consulting in the network of universities with economics and business administrationtrainingin the Higher education system, Research Institute, Enterprises in Vietnam; expandingeffective cooperation and exchange with universities, research institutes and international organizations in the region and over the world.
